Risk disclosure

TaoScale is a non-custodial interface to Bittensor dTAO. Staking and trading carry real risk. Read this before you commit any TAO.

Capital at risk

Staking TAO into subnets exposes you to price movements in each subnet's alpha token. Their value can fall, including below what you staked. Past or projected APY is not a guarantee of future returns.

Beta software

TaoScale is in beta. Staking flows currently run against testnet while we harden security for mainnet. Some figures shown across the app (illustrative TVL, client and traffic analytics, launchpad pledges) are illustrative until the corresponding backends ship — these are labelled in-app.

Non-custodial — you hold the keys

We never take custody of your TAO. Every transaction is signed in your own wallet. This also means you are solely responsible for your seed phrase, hardware device and transaction approvals. We cannot recover lost keys or reverse a signed transaction.

Unstaking delay

Withdrawing stake is subject to the network's unstaking delay. Funds are not instantly liquid, and alpha price can move during that window.

Validator routing

Stake is routed to third-party validators selected for performance. A validator can underperform, raise its take, or behave maliciously, affecting your yield. You can override the routing manually in the advanced panel.

Launchpad & markets

Launchpad pledges and prediction-market settlement are not yet enforced by an on-chain escrow contract. Until that ships, do not treat pledged or wagered amounts as trustlessly secured.

Not financial advice

Nothing on TaoScale is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and for complying with the laws of your jurisdiction.
